Temro Mastemar is a Sunday school in Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahdo Faith under Miskaye Hizunan Medhane Alem Monastery. It was founded in 1957 under the name of “Temro Mastemar Mahber”, Amharic (one of Ethiopian major languages) name, meaning “Temro Mastemar Association”. The association has been spreading out words of God and gospel to the faith all interested focusing in Ethiopia for the last 60 years. In the last decade, as social media and virtual connection have become more reality and as the world has become smaller and smaller, the outreach of the association has also become borderless and started serving anyone interested in the faith internationally. Today, it is having its legal existence in US, to help the spread of God’s words and the teachings of the faith.
Our Mission!
- To strengthen the apostolic ministry of Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahdo Faith, spread the gospel throughout the world, grow its economic capacity and provide appropriate support so that modern technology and social media can be utilized positively in spreading Words of God.
- To Support the church’s evangelical teaching professionally and financially so that young people can grow in the faith and order in the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahdo Faith.
- To educate children, youth and adults whiling supporting them in the skyrocketing cost of living
